Meet The Experts in Cancun

 

Investing in real estate, like any other kind of investing, can be made at two levels…the ‘retail’ level and the ‘wholesale’ level.  Anybody can invest in the retail level buying properties posted in an estate agents window or on their website.  The most prosperous investors find their way to the wholesale side of investing.

 

In fact, that is what I have spent the last decade doing…seeking out the best early-in real estate investments around the world.  Over those 10 years, I have created a database of developers and real estate investors who are on the ground finding the local deals and doing the developments.  They are investing at wholesale prices.

 

My name is Lief Simon and I have invested in real estate in 16 countries on 5 continents.  Until last year, I was editor of the newsletter Global Real Estate Investor where I told my readers the best places in the world to put their real estate investments.  For example, we invested early after the crisis in Argentina and saw appreciation of 100% in less than 3 years.  I also told readers to invest in a project in Mexico where they are earning 10% interest a year while having upside potential of more 100% gain on their investment in 30 months.  I still write about global real estate opportunities for some newsletters, but most of my time is managing my own investments and projects.
